Getting Formal

Wearing formals gives you a boost of confidence and makes you look classy, but sometimes these things can get a little repetitive and boring. To escape this kind of a situation you can always add some stylish options which will make you look like you are dressed for work without making you look boring.

Here is a combination of the classic black and white which just never goes wrong. What I have done here is I have paired a white laced top with a chic black pencil skirt, you can always go for tops if you don’t want to wear shirt without looking informal, just remember threeΒ things:

  • No cutouts
  • Stick to solid colors, avoid patterns (small stripes andΒ checks are alright)
  • Avoid bright colors and also avoid too many colors

To make this outfit more interesting go for solid black stilettos, a nice metallic oversized watch and a classy black handbag.

Just kidding, blue is one of my favorite color, specially when paired with white. Here, as you see instead of a regular pencil skirt or trousers I found a very cool and comfortable option of these knee length palazzo pants in this solid royal blur color. Here I paired it with a white shirt but you can experiment with any pastel colors, it will look awesome. As you can already tell i love matching stuff so I paired it with a royal blue handbag and same colored stilettos, but you can do whatever you prefer. The watch is such a must, without it the formal outfit stays incomplete. Stick to nice, light and neutral make-up so that youΒ stay fresh all day.

Let me know which one is your favorite and you look forward to trying out. Till then take care and stay stylish.
